A LITTLE BIT ABOUT ME

Born and raised in Mauritius, I have a background in Architecture and Project Management. I tend to focus my attention towards the built environment and system thinking, regrouping the topics of Architecture, Urbanism, Ecology, Energy and Culture. I advocate in the area with the aim to generate ideas more appropriate in fostering resilient communities. My work is greatly influenced by the ideas of Nikos Salingaros, Christopher Alexander & Michael Mehaffy.

Very active in grassroot activism, I am the co-founder of the Plateforme Citoyenne, an umbrella NGO in Mauritius regrouping local organisations advocating for a clean energy future. This allowed me to work in a dynamic environment and further pursue my ideas oriented towards supporting energy & developmental models more appropriate for Small Island Developing States.

WHY I LOVE WHAT I DO

Creating a symbiosis across disciplines leading to the fostering of a living city on all scales would be my main agenda.

It is time to make use of the greatest scientific ideas of our time and find avenues to creates synergistic opportunities across industries. A creative revolution is possible, one that will transform industries in wonderfully human ways. However, looking at the current systems in place, this is complex, but not impossible!
